With pride, yet without the fancy bottle and label; with experience passed from generation to generation and not with a bottler who takes all the credit, these mezcaleros are certified and own their brands. We respect their creations, and feel honoured of representing them. We are happy to tell their history.

Only building a #MezcalCulture we will be able to reach those who not only enjoy a good mezcal, but also treasure their fair development. Our aim is to contribute to make ancestral and traditional mezcal find their place in this competitive, and sometimes savage, market.

What else is there to do, when giant companies buy local brands, buy local producers and laugh at tradition? Persist, persist and believe in our dreams…

Destilado de agave Lalocura

Eduardo belongs to an exemplary family of mezcal producers from Santa Catarina Minas. His company does not require a presentation, rather a recognition for his tireless effort: 100% ancestral mezcal, hand ground, naturally fermented, destilled in clay stills, and above everything, a constant quest for a respectful (social, environmental) production.

Rey Campero

Three partners: Vicente, Valente and Gil: one in charge of the crops, the other of production and the last of commercialization. They have already managed to ship their mezcal all over the country and to export it to several places in the US , Europe and Canada. Rey Campero is one of the “engines” of 6 Sentidos: thanks to them we have also the ability to open our doors to new producers.

Don Mateo de la Sierra

The sole product that we carry that is not made in Oaxaca. If we included them, its due to their exceptional quality and working process. Héctor, our curator has worked with them and joined several of their processes. They produce excellent artisan made mezcal and we are proud of joining them. Just try them and you will soon fall in love as we did.

3000 Noches

In 2021 we welcomed maestro Ángel Cruz, with his 3000 Nights brand. He is an unique producer in the Sola de Vega region, in the Southern Sierra of Oaxaca, particularly in the community of El Lazo, located at 1800 meters above sea level, something uncommon for Oaxaca.  Most of distillation in this area is made in clay stills, in the ancestral process, very labor intensive.

400 Lustros

The Lucas family is located in Miahuatlan, Oaxaca, in the Southern Sierra. They have been active for more than 5 generations. One of the particularities of their production is that they only select agaves with “quiote” (the large stem that an agave develops when it reaches its maturity), which allows them to find the right level of sugar and flavor.
